Milestone Celebration and Brand Heritage
2025 marks the 150th anniversary of Audemars Piguet, the world’s leading watchmaking brand. A legend in the watchmaking world, Audemars Piguet continues to innovate, refining mechanical art and integrating modern aesthetics. This year, the brand not only brings innovation to technology and design but also continues its legacy at K11 Musea in Hong Kong with the opening of the new extended space, AP House, enhancing the immersive brand experience for customers.
AP House New Wing: An Upgrade in Design and Sensory Experience
Designed by the renowned design team Studiossoo, the new wing features an entrance paved with Calacatta gold marble, creating a luxurious yet warm atmosphere. Inside, watches are displayed on pod-shaped columns, treasured like fine wines, complemented by French boudoir-style “jewelry box” hidden doors, perfectly combining horological art with a private space. A 135-square-meter outdoor green balcony allows visitors to enjoy stunning views of Victoria Harbour amidst the bustling city, providing a unique experience for watch enthusiasts.

150th Anniversary Limited Edition Watches
To celebrate this historic moment, Audemars Piguet has launched several limited edition watches, including three new 38mm perpetual calendar watches and several gem-set Code 11.59 limited edition models. These special edition watches feature the brand’s newly developed movement, with a more intuitive layout. The date, month, and leap year displays use a European date format for improved visual harmony and legibility. The perpetual calendar is accurate to every 48 months and requires no manual adjustment for over a century. Design-wise, the “AP” logo on the moon phase disc uses a vintage font, and the automatic tourbillon is engraved with a 150th-anniversary commemorative pattern, showcasing exceptional craftsmanship.
The Art of Gem-Jeweled Dials
The new Code 11.59 series watches not only lead in technology but also elevate gem-jeweled dials to new heights. Unique ruby, sapphire, and emerald dials complement rose gold and white gold cases, each dial featuring a unique gemstone texture, making them highly collectible. The emerald dial, in particular, uses Zambian malachite, symbolizing growth and transformation, and paired with an alligator leather strap, the overall design blends nature and luxury.

A Path of Craftsmanship and Innovation
Audemars Piguet’s 150th anniversary is undoubtedly a major milestone in Swiss watchmaking history. Through technological innovation and spatial upgrades, the brand not only inherits its exquisite watchmaking craftsmanship but also breathes new life into classic timepieces. The new AP House wing, located in K11 Musea, serves as a showcase for the brand’s culture and art, attracting watch enthusiasts worldwide to explore and continue writing Audemars Piguet’s enduring legacy.
